Professor at the University of Bologna, Italy, where she teaches Public Comparative Law, and an associate Professor at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University.

She has lectured at many universities, including Yale and Oxford, and participated in conferences and seminars around the world. Her works include Comparative Constitutional Law issues.
