Marie-Claire Ponthoreau is a full Professor of Public Law at the University of Bordeaux (France), where she does most of her teaching in the following areas: Constitutional Law, Comparative Law, Constitutional Theory, European Law and Government. Her main research topics are: on one side, epistemological matters on comparative legal studies and on the other side, constitutional interpretation, in particular the use of foreign jurisprudence as a method of constitutional interpretation.
